APC’ll reverse PDP fatigue in Delta —Okorodudu
A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State and Delta South senatorial district aspirant in the 2019 general election, Air Vice Marshall Terry Okorodudu (retd), has said that there was a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, fatigue in the state, which the APC was set to reverse through a peoples’ oriented service delivery.
He also said that defectors from the APC to the PDP, except perhaps only two, were essentially politicians without credibility and opportunists out to feather their individual nests for personal aggrandizement.
Speaking to newsmen in Warri, Okorodudu disclosed that he wants to go because the people of the district and by extension the state were not being well represented and expressed regret that after the administration of Chief James Ibori, the state’s socio-economic and political fortunes had dropped to unacceptable level .
He said: “APC is set to reverse this downward trend in a peaceful and honest manner with a clear understanding that the people will be better served.”
He however, expressed dissatisfaction with the level of factionalization in the APC in the state which he said was already receiving the attention of the party hierarchy and would soon be resolved amicably because that was the only way they can wrest power from the PDP government.
