Former Arsenal player, Paul Merson has predicted that Chelsea will defeat Manchester United 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League fixture at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea head to the game following a 3-0 win over Southampton in their last Premier League fixture. United defeated Newcastle 3-2.
Merson expects Maurizio Sarri’s side to be too strong for Jose Mourinho’s men.
“Over the years I’ve always said Manchester United turn up for these big games and seem to be able to grind it out, but at the moment they let in far too many goals,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“I’ve got to go with Chelsea, I think they will be too strong for United.
