EPL: Chelsea beat Man United, Liverpool over signing Dortmund star

Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have won the race ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool over the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward, Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic, who is contracted to Dortmund until 2020, has been linked with a move to join Liverpool and United over the past few years.

According to Daily Mail, the Blues won the race ahead of United and Liverpool after the 20-year-old decided that he wants to join manager, Maurizio Sarri’s men.

The report claimed that Chelsea are set to make an announcement next month for the youngster ahead of a summer switch.

The report also claimed that a transfer fee is yet to be agreed between Dortmund and Chelsea, but the deal is expected to be worth around £60million.

Meanwhile, Pulisic spoke last month that he would love to play in the English Premier League someday.

“England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why maybe one day I won’t play in the Premier League,” Pulisic said.

“As you can see, we are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that.”
