EPL: Chelsea defender, Rudiger names one player ahead of Hazard in world football
Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger has revealed that Barcelona ace, Lionel Messi is the only player right now in the world that is ahead of fellow Blues’ teammate, Eden Hazard.
Speaking in an interview with FourFourTwo, Rudiger said that Messi is the only player that can be considered as a superior talent to Hazard at this moment in time
“Mbappe is unbelievably fast, really good. To stop him, you have to do it as a team, because alone good luck!.
“But for me, the best in the world is Messi, then Hazard,” Rudiger said.
Hazard has begun to hit his stride over the last couple of weeks, following his superb showing at this summer’s 2018 World Cup with Belgium.
The 27-year-old left out of the starting lineup of Chelsea new manager, Maurizio Sarri for the Blues’ first two competitive fixtures of his reign, as Sarri eased his side’s talisman back into action following his international exploits.
