EPL: Paul Merson predicts scorelines of West Ham vs Man United, Arsenal vs Watford
Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has predicted that Manchester United will play 1-1 with West Ham United in the Premier League game on Saturday.
He also said that the game between Arsenal and Watford will end 2-1 in favour of the Gunners.
Writing his weekly predictions for Sky Sports, Merson said: “Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba had an awkward exchange as the midfielder returned to training after being stripped of the Manchester United vice-captaincy.
“Man Utd are all over the place. Last week, they drew with Wolves at home and now they’re out of the cup, and West Ham have turned a corner.
“It’s not working between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho, they don’t look happy. I’ve seen the video of Pogba coming onto the training pitch and Mourinho says something to him, so it isn’t good at all. With the results as well, it just gets blown up even more.
“If they had won their last two games, it wouldn’t be a problem, but they’re out of the title race and out of one of the cups already which they had a chance of winning. For me, it’s worrying times at Man Utd now.
“Prediction is West Ham 1 Manchester United 1”.
On Arsenal game against Watford, he added: “Watford will be disappointed after the Carabao Cup exit to Tottenham, but they’ve done well so far this season. But Arsenal are rolling and I can only see them getting a win here.
“Prediction is Arsenal 1, Watford 2.”
The kick-off time for West Ham vs Man United is 12:30pm, while Arsenal vs Watford is 3pm.
